Touching the Suffering through Medical Missions
May 14

Retired missionary nurse, Peggy Johnson Knutti, shares observations of her 21 years with HealthCare Ministries through her recent book Healing Hands: Touching the Suffering through Medical Missions. The 184-page book gives short sketches of the spiritual and professional journeys of many of those who have worked and volunteered with HealthCare Ministries.  Exciting stories and testimonies are shared by missionaries and medical professionals about the numerous outreaches of HealthCare Ministries. Healing Hands not only describes the birth of HCM, but the struggles that incurred in accepting medical missions within the Assemblies of God - including the recent General Council decision supporting compassionate ministries.
